Another example of an early Regency convex girandole before  restoration.







The mirror above after restoration.  It was dry stripped and then regilded onto the old bole surface.

A Regency convex girondole circa 1810 before and after restoration.  The frame was cleaned and dry stripped back to the bole layer after which it was regilded and toned.


A new base was carved and gilded to match the existing original decoration.
